What We Do

Project Reflect Pre-K Curriculum provide a literacy-based curriculum contains several units of study modeled under the scope of the TN Early Learning Developmental Standards.

Classrooms Settings - Classrooms are student-centered spaces that support whole group, small group, and independent learning experiences.

Centers Include - Communication, Math, Technology, Dramatic Play, Science Discovery, Sensory Exploration, Literacy, Arts & Craft, and Critical Thinking.

What to Bring

Complete Enrollment Packet
Sleeping Mat with a blanket, and sheet
Backpack (without wheels) with a change of clothing (several pairs of underwear & socks)
Lunches are optional (meals & snack provided)

Please have your child wear appropriate shoes and clothing each day for indoor and outdoor playground safety. Flip flops, sandals, or heels should not be worn to school.

Label the inside of your child’s personal items with a permanent Marker.

Who We Are

Project Reflect Inc. is a private entity that has launched a Pre-kindergarten program. It is established under the scope standards of the Department of Human Service, Childcare, and Licensing of Davidson County.
A year round, full-day program for three and four year old's who resides in Davidson County.
A program that has two classrooms, each comprised of up to 20 students.
A properly trained and qualified paraprofessional per classroom

Mission Statement

We believe that all children can learn and grow. We seek to educate and empower children at all levels from at risk to high achieving. With a strong foundation in basic skills, higher order thinking, and positive behavior skills all students will succeed.

We equally believe that appropriate interactions amongst educators, the students, families, and the community helps us provide a welcoming and supportive environment that leads each child toward success in school and in life.

Attendance Policy

Attendance is very important and is part of your child’s educational records.
If sick, your child will not be able to attend school and is required to stay home for at least 24 hours. He or she must be symptom free without medication before returning to school. (Please see when to stay at home attached.)
All absences must be verified in writing from the parent or guardian within three (3) days. All absences for which no written verification is received will be considered unexcused. Absences are marked on the student’s record as either excused or unexcused.
Parents are still required to pay the child's weekly base sitting fee for program even if your child is going to be absent during that week.
Your child is considered Tardy if they arrive after 8am.
Parents are responsible for providing breakfast to their child prior to arrival to school after 8:15am.
We ask that all parents call an hour prior to being tardy or an early dismissal.

$130/child per week

Free Assistance Program

Income and Family Size Screening Required to Qualify provided through DCS - Limited Amount of Slots Available

Parent's Rules

Hours of Operation 7:00am to 3:00pm
All parents must sign their child in and out on the attendance log at time of drop off and pick up.
A valid photo ID is required for all individuals listed your child's pickup list to ensure the safety of your child.
Parents are to bring children before 8:15am in order to be included in daily activity schedule.
Breakfast is served at 8:00am and ends at 8:45am.
Please call or text to your teacher before 8:00am if your child will not be attending for the day.
Parents are required to pay the weekly rate even if your child is absent during that week.
If there is an unpaid balance your child will not be able to return to the pre-k program until balance is paid in full.
Parents receiving childcare assistance must complete requirements requested by DHS in order to maintain your childcare voucher.

If your child is sick and has a fever he or she will not be able to come until child is cleared by doctor or is clear of any symptoms for 24 hours. This is to avoid spreading illness to the other children.
Please bring tennis shoes for playing outside. Sandals, crocks, or flip flops are not permitted.
